The most common herb used in American kitchens parsley adds color and a hint of flavor to potatoes, vegetables, chicken and fish. Parsley is very commonly added to spice blends to add color and interest without adding a lot of competing flavor. In recipes, add 1/3 less dry measure than what the recipe calls for – 1 tsp dry = 1 Tbsp. fresh
