Absolutely "Everything" Avocado Toast

I like to keep my avocado toast simple and sexy. Allowing the freshness of the ingredients to shine is always best.


2 large Ripe Avocados

1 Lemon, juiced

1 small Shallot, minced

8-10 Fresh Basil (about 8-10 large leaves)

4 slices Your favorite loaf of bread (I like Garlic Batard) 4 slices

1 Tbsp. U.G.S.S. Absolutely “Everything” blend

1 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil


  1. Start by peeling and cutting up your avocado into large pieces into a medium bowl. Then, smash it with a fork or avocado masher. I usually keep my avocados somewhat chunky. Once you have your avocado where you want it, set it aside.

  2. Toast 4 slices of your favorite bread. I usually cut mine about ½-¾ inch thick to get some amazing chew.

  3. Begin preparing your basil slicing the leaves with forward stroking motions with your knife. You do not want to just chop your basil with intensity. Bruising your basil turns it black much faster and you want to treat it with love.

  4. Take your avocado, fold in your shallots, basil, extra virgin olive oil, half of the Absolutely Everything Spice, and half of the lemon juice. Taste. If you like things more salty or acidic, add the rest of your lemon juice and a touch more salt.

  5. Spoon your avocado spread onto your toasted bread. Garnish with more everything spice!

*(Bonus: Sometimes, I like to add bacon or pickled onions on top of my avocado toast if I am feeling adventurous!)
